Our people are our best asset. Our staff is customer-focused, fully qualified to provide assistance with any project and includes experienced consultants and engineers licensed by the New Jersey Department Of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for tank closure and sub-surface evaluation and Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRP). We are OSHA certified and an approved United States Cost Guard response contractor.
We also have USCG licensed captains, experienced divers, a crew certified under numerous EPA, OSHA and AMSEA training programs, and a technical and operational staff committed to providing outstanding service. Given the specialty equipment that we use and process operations that we regularly perform, all Northstar Environmental Services Hazardous Materials Technicians undergo extensive OSHA training programs required by OSHA 29 CFR 191.
Ongoing training and support
It is our belief that to provide a quality service, our people not only need to have quality training but continual support. Training does not end after the first class is completed, but continues throughout the year with an annual HAZWOPER refresher program and on-the-job guidance and seminars to help keep us at the top of our game. We follow a complete and thorough Health & Safety Program that encompasses training and awareness in the areas of OSHA, DOT, Confined Space Entry, Hazardous Communications and First Aid. Our truck drivers are CDL licensed with HAZMAT certification and all Northstar Environmental employees carry Transportation Workers Identification Cards (TWIC).
